The Explorer beanie hat comes in four sizes, small, medium, large and X large and is worked in the top down method starting with a circular crown which joins to an overlay mosaic crochet body, which in turn joins onto a ribbed brim. The brim can be worn turned up on the outside of your beanie or it can be turned in and sewn to the inside of your beanie. The outside brim has an optional coloured trim.

The pattern is written for Aran/Worsted weight yarn. Please make sure you work to the guage so that your hat works up to your required size.
