Arabella UK version
This is the UK version of Arabella, an overlay mosaic crochet pattern. There are comprehensive pattern notes, user friendly charts with associated keys and full written instructions for this pattern.

Arabella has seven sections which are worked in rounds and all rounds are worked in traditional overlay mosaic crochet. Sections 1, 3, 5 and 7 use colours A and B and sections 2, 4 and 6 are worked in colours A and C.

The centre square of the blanket; section 1, can be repeated and used to make a patchwork project of any size and I have included a bonus border (chart only) which will work with any size of patchwork project.
Please note: the bonus chart does not come with written instructions.Included are instructions on how to calculate the yarn amounts for your patchwork project, for both the motif squares and the border.

Yarn:
You can use any yarn you like for this pattern and the appropriate hook for your yarn.
Gauge:
17 stitches & 18 rows = 10 cm (4 inches)
Using aran/worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm hook.
Sizes:
Arabella is one size and using the above gauge is 140cm x 140cm (55” by 55”)
Yarn Amounts:
Colour A - 1725 meters
Colour B - 905 meters
Colour C - 975 meters
Colour D - 205 meters
Suitable for:
The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.As the pattern is worked in rounds, there are no envelope borders required.
